I’ve encountered some confusing behavior with webhooks in SendPulse (Instagram comments).
Here’s what I see:
if a user has already interacted with the bot → webhook for a comment is received
if it’s the first interaction (user only leaves a comment) → no webhook is sent
At the same time, the comment does appear in the SendPulse interface.
So essentially, part of incoming leads is not being sent to our external system.
Support mentioned that this is “expected behavior” and that comment webhooks are not fully supported.
Questions:
Is this really the intended logic?
How do you build CRM integrations if not all leads are passed?
Is there any reliable way to receive all comments via webhooks or API?
Right now it looks like: the event exists in the interface, but not in the API — which makes the integration incomplete.
